New Client: The Rob Hill Foundation

The Sunny Bird PR team is delighted to announce that they are now working with the Rob Hill Foundation .

The Rob Hill Foundation, was set up by Chris Hill in memory of his twin brother Rob who died in 2014 after taking an Ecstasy pill on a night out. Chris has developed the 7-Day Beat Addiction Plan which has been tried and tested; and has already saved thousands of lives. It has helped people beat addiction to the hardest drugs, to alcohol and to nicotine as well as helping people deal with anxiety and stress, and to eat better, lose weight, conquer phobias such as flying or using lifts and generally empower people to have a better quality of life

The Rob Hill Foundation workshops and support groups are open to everyone and offered completely free of charge. The charity also works with people facing homelessness because of their addictions and those already homeless. The 7-Day Beat Addiction Plan is also distributed free through the workshops , direct to homeless people and as a free download from his website.

New Client Win: OzKleen

The team at Sunny Bird PR are delighted to announce that they have started working with Australian cleaning brand, OzKleen. The eco-cleaning brand stands out in a class of its own, not just for its environmentally conscious values, but also because OzKleen cleaning products “actually work”. Free from chlorine, ammonia and phosphates, OzKleen’s range covers the entire house.

OzKleen’s philosophy is to produce a range of eco-friendly, scientifically advanced products that can genuinely help people save time and effort. During the past 20 years, OzKleen has been investing time and expenses to source ingredients that are safe for the long-term user, and so better for the environment. OzKleen aims to ensure that both your house and the environment remain clean.

The SBPR team will be raising the profile of OzKleen in the British consumer media with a structured and targeted creative PR campaign. Clientversary: BBX UK

This month we are celebrating our one year ‘clientversary’ with the team at BBXUK!

We began working with BBXUK back in September 2018, when they came to us to promote the online business tool to the media and raise their profile as a community whereby users can exchange their goods and services with others on the platform.

Over the past 12 months SBPR has worked on a strategy designed to keep BBUK in the media all year long. As part of that strategy, the team at SBPR have sourced BBXUK case studies to pitch to press, have come up with a number of creative feature ideas designed to highlight BBXUK as an option for SMEs, and have profiled key members of the team to position BBX as an expert in the industry.

SBPR has achieved 16 pieces of coverage in total for BBXUK over the past year in targeted business and franchise titles as well as consumer publications. Coverage has been featured in key business, trade and franchising titles such as Global Franchise Magazine, Real Business, Elite Business, Elite Franchise Magazine, SmallBusiness.co.uk and UK Fundraising as well as some prominent consumer coverage in titles such as the Mail Online by pitching a case study of a couple who used BBXUK to save £20,000 on their dream wedding. This feature proves that B2B clients can secure space in consumer media, this feature alone reached over 2 million people and had an advertising equivalent of over £53,000!

New Client Win: The Upside Gallery

We are super excited to be working on The Upside Gallery Project which will transform the grey pillars that support the Wessex Way in Bournemouth into an amazing creative space of colourful art by world-famous mural artists!

 

This ground-breaking initiative, conceived and driven by Bournemouth-based creative agency, Paintshop Studio, and supported using public funding by Arts Council England, aims to showcase the wide variety and incredible talent that has risen from the street art and graffiti movement to show how art can transform and reinvent spaces.

 

We will be helping spread the word and raise awareness about the fantastic project which will be permanent for visitors and locals to enjoy as they pass through the area.

 

Our good friends at Greenwood Campbell are also working on the project to provide a mobile gallery guide which will be launching on Sept 28th and will allow visitors to the gallery to scan QR codes and access more information about the concepts, artists and progress pictures.

 

The art installation will commence on Monday 9th September and the final gallery will be ready to view on 22nd September – we can’t wait to see it!

Cornell’s Positivity Summit held in London over two days will see inspirational speakers from all over the world sharing their unique individual stories. Speakers include Fiona Lamb, Claude Silver, Boyd Melson, Omar Al Busaidy, Charlie Lowe, Dr Jay LaGuardia, and Ryan Hayashi.

The Positivity Summit will also include a range of diverse workshops from being a more effective public speaker to learning how to master your memory, a speaker panel Q and A, and networking with amazing people from all over the globe.

The second day of the Positivity Summit will see Cornell taking attendees on a pay it forward day where everyone will hit the streets and help change lives for the better. New Client Win: The Lagoon

The Sunny Bird PR team are excited to announce they are now working with The Lagoon, The South’s First Surf and Adventure Park Coming to Bournemouth in 2022

The Lagoon is a man-made surf park with a highly engineered and hi-tech wave machine capable of making over 2,400 ocean-like waves per hour. The entire development looks to attract over 500,000 visitors annually and aspires to become a centre of sporting excellence fit for Olympians. 

 The Lagoon will be based upon a beach shack style, which will be both authentic and attractive, with ocean inspired décor. With a grass roof for the main building, solar panels and rainwater harvesters the site is planned to be energy-neutral for an environmentally friendly solution.

The people behind this ambitious project are Matt Radford, Founder and MD, who teamed up with Director Martin Spooner to create a fast-moving development company. The visionary duo have also employed an impressive team of local consultants with combined experience managing sites such as Legoland, Longleat, Merlin Entertainments. 

An all year round indoor and outdoor attraction, The Lagoon will offer a range of indoor activities from rock climbing to abseiling as well as five different wave areas to cater for everyone from absolute beginners to pros all at the same time. The Lagoon will also offer a tranquil environment with an offering of mixed accommodation styles from a contemporary 145-bedroom hotel to tree houses, woodland lodges, glamping pods and ‘hobbit’ huts. The eco-conscious development will bring a significant number of tourists into the area, create considerable employment and will also supply an important all-weather destination for the local community, holidaymakers and tourists alike.

The Sunny Bird PR team are delighted to announce they are now working with award-winning domestic abuse charity The Hampton Trust.

The Hampton Trust was founded in 1996 to deliver domestic violence perpetrator programmes within the criminal justice system to reduce offence rates. To tackle the root causes of domestic abuse, the trust works directly with individuals who are being abusive. The charity makes it their mission to identify the complexities behind violent, coercive and controlling behaviour to end the cycle of domestic abuse and prevent harm coming to victims. Sunny Bird, founder and MD of Sunny Bird PR, said: “We are extremely proud to be working alongside such an innovative charity supporting victims of domestic abuse by reducing the rate of criminal and abusive behaviour.
